A quirky little pocket bottle opener in the shape of a beer bottle.
This looks like a little brass bottle, but push down the little silver coloured lid and out pops a lever so you can pop open your beer.
This great little gadget is just 7cms tall so perfect to keep in your pocket. It is vintage and probably dates to the 1970’s or 80’s, perhaps earlier, so the brass shows a great vintage patina. I like to see a certain amount of natural patina and think it confirms the age and style of something that’s vintage, so I don’t tend to polish something like this. However, this is a personal preference, and this could be shined up nicely if you wish.
It’s in perfect working order; just hold the bottle in your hand, in an upright position push the little silver top and gravity allows the lever to drop out. It stays out quite securely to open your bottle. Then just tip the bottle upwards whilst pushing the bottle top again and it disappears inside the bottle.
A unique and rather quirky little bottle opener, small enough for your pocket.
