A stunning resin casket with an Oriental red dragon on the lid.
This wonderful box features a red dragon which symbolises good luck and fortune. The dragon sits upon flames or water and is holding a pearl and symbolises; spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power, immortality, thunder, or the moon. The box underneath the dragon is black, highlighted with gold, and has been designed in an ornate style. The lid is a lift-off style.
Chinese dragons, unlike their western counterparts are regarded as gentle, friendly and wise.
The box measures approx. 16cm x 11.5cm x 15cm tall. It is in good condition with one corner having a few white marks which could have occurred during the manufacturing process. This is quite a weighty piece at almost 1kg and is quite sturdy.
