Old Style Globe c.1970

A great old-world globe on stand with an arrow as poles.

This vintage globe dates from around the 1970’s. The stand is made from a light-weight wood which has been stained and made to look rustic and old. A metal arrow pierces the globe at the north and south poles. The stand is formed from three square wooden blocks.

The globe stands approx. 36cm tall. There are a few white marks on the paper globe but otherwise the piece is in excellent vintage condition.

The paper covered globe is in a very old-world Italian style with vivid colouring and Italian or Latin writing. The decorative images are beautiful.
