A vintage card game from the 1930’s in a wonderful box shaped like a little book.
The set consists of the book box, a rule book, a little book of new games to play with Lexicon cards, 52 cards including a master card and two information cards (54 cards).
The game of Lexicon first produced in 1932 was one of the first spelling card games developed for play during the 1920’s. Gameplay involves making words then changing them. The winner is determined by getting rid of their cards and by having the lowest score.
This vintage set is complete. The book box has some wear, but the cards and booklets are in good condition although the cards could do with a clean. The box measures approx. 10cm x 7.5cm x 3cm.
A great little game for a winter’s evening in front of the fire.
