Fynnon Salt Tin
A very early Fynnon Salt Tin. This is the earliest tin of Fynnon Salt I have seen as the design is much more traditional.
The tin itself is a wonderful kidney shape which is very unusual. The colouring and worn condition of the tin make it a wonderful piece for a collection or display.
Fynnon was a saline treatment used to relieve the symptoms of rheumatism. It worked as a laxative to help the kidneys filter certain poisons. The tin states that the proprietors, Fynnon Limited, were based in Brentford, Middlesex, England. The back has detailed directions for use.
The tin measures approx. 10.5cm x 7cm x 5cm. The lid fits very well and could still be used for storage.
A great vintage tin from the early 1900’s.
