Five tiny medical bottles from the 1950’s.
There are three vials which have been used for injections for administering Diphtheria Prophylactic. These were manufactured by the Wellcome Research Laboratories in Beckenham, England in the years 1954, 1955 and 1958.
There is another vial which contained Bismostab 5cc manufactured by Boots.
The last bottle has a screw top lid and contained Dry Cold Extract of Folia Digitalis. The bottle had 25 tablets and each tablet consisted of 150 frog doses. There is a large but faint stamp of POISON on the label.
One of the vials of Diptheria still has some liquid in the bottom and all three glass vials show perishing to the tops. The vial with Bismostab has some powder left in it and the top also looks quite perished.
All bottles are in great vintage condition with wonderful aged labels which would look great in a bathroom, a curiosity cabinet or as part of a medical display.
An unusual collection of little glass bottles.
