Edwardian Seed Pearl Lapel Stick Pin 14kt Gold

A stylish lapel or tie pin in a circular design with a seed pearl in the centre.

This simple yet stunning pin has no hallmark but tests as 14kt gold which suggests it is continental in origin. The pearl sitting in the centre of the head sits within two silver (possibly platinum) circles. The remainder of the pin is 14kt gold.

From the design, I would date this to the Edwardian period although it could be earlier. It is in excellent condition although the pin is slightly misshapen. It measures approx. 5.5cm and comes in its original purple leather box with black velvet lining.

The pin weighs 1.33grams and the whole piece including the pin box weighs 28.54grams.
