Crocodile Skin and Silver Cigar Holder

A stunning antique genuine crocodile skin and sterling silver cigar case dating from 1886.

These types of cigar cases are currently very much in style and this is an exceptional example. The personalised monogram initials on the front of the case are just beautiful. The letters: T C and H are all intertwined in a superb Gothic style.

The piece is fully hallmarked with the maker, William Amaziah Ellwick, London, who later became W A Ellwick Ltd (from c1910). The hallmark indicates the date, 1886.

The case is in excellent condition and measures approx. 13cm x 8.5cm x 2cm. The two elements fit snugly together and are designed to fit into a jacket pocket smoothly.
