A lovely little butterfly wing pin dish dating from the mid to late 21^st century.

This dear little dish is named ‘Blue Horizon’ as the wings in the centre appear like the horizon when looking out to sea on a moonlit evening.

This dish features in its centre, the wing of the blue morpho butterfly from South America, where I believe this dish originates.

The silver metal dish is plain without decoration letting the butterfly wing speak for itself. The small plate itself is in good condition with a little wear and a few scratches on the reverse.

The butterfly wings inside the dish are in excellent condition and change colour beautifully as shown in the photos. The dish measures just under 7cm across and stands just over 1cm high.
