A nice little number game from the early c20th. Although the paper covering on the box is coming away, the wooden numbers are in excellent condition.
This is an old-fashioned number game which has no instructions but is very simple to play.
For the ‘15’ game: Remove the no: 16 block and rearrange the rest of blocks randomly leaving the bottom right square free. The aim of the game is to put the numbers back in order by sliding the blocks and without removing them from the box.
For the ‘16’ game (this is also known as 34): Remove all the blocks from the box and replace them in the box so that each line up and down adds up to 34.
The little red blocks could also have many other uses on their own such as a competition draw or number allocation.
The box measures approx. 11cm x 11cm x 2.5 and each little block measures 2.5cm x 2.5cm x 0.5cm.
A lovely little vintage game.
